Will a recruiter stop on your résumé bullets?

Paste up to 12 bullets from your résumé, one per line. You'll get a score out of 100 and specific fixes for each one, based on what recruiters notice in the first few seconds. It runs in your browser; nothing you paste leaves your device.

What recruiters look for in a bullet.

A recruiter usually skims a résumé before deciding whether to read it. Bullets that survive the skim share a shape: they open with what you did, show the scope, and end with what changed because of it. "Responsible for vendor reports" describes a job. "Rebuilt the weekly vendor report for 14 stores, cutting late orders by a third" describes a person worth calling.

Numbers do a lot of work, but only true ones. If you don't have the exact figure, write a placeholder and find it before you apply. Interviewers ask about the numbers on your résumé, and a confident, accurate answer is worth more than an impressive guess.

Length matters too. One idea per bullet, roughly one to two lines, keeps a skimming reader with you. Save the detail for the interview, where it helps you most.

Questions.

Is my résumé text sent anywhere?

No. The check runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you paste is uploaded, stored or seen by NWTS.

How is the score calculated?

Each bullet earns 20 points for each of five things recruiters notice in seconds: a strong action verb at the start, a number, a result rather than an activity, a readable length (10 to 32 words), and no first person or filler words. Your overall score is the average.

Does a high score guarantee interviews?

No. It means your bullets follow patterns that make them easier for recruiters to read and remember. What you accomplished, and how well it matches the role, still matters most.

Should I invent numbers to score higher?

Never. Use a placeholder such as [add number] until you can confirm a true figure. Interviewers ask about numbers, and an invented one costs more than a missing one.
